Geelong Training Launch 2014

Bellarine Pool Training Kick-Off

Thursday 29th May 2014, mark that day in your calendar Folks! A significant day in Geelong Freediving terms as the first pool training session kicks off under the watchful eye of the newly appointed Geelong Safety Officer.

Geelong Training Venue Day 1

Geelong City-logoThanks goes out to Club Vice President and Regional Representative Luke Bellamy for working hard on securing the Geelong College aquatic centre for freediving pool training. These tasks aren’t as simple as making a phone call and asking for a booking.

Our thanks is also shared with the Aquatic Centre Manager, Tristan, at Geelong College who supports the advancement in safety and performance of freedivers in the Bellarine Peninsula region.

Congratulations and thanks to Gerard Saunders who has volunteered for the important post as Geelong Regional Safety Officer. After completing Safety Induction this week he’ll now be following the extensive script and inducting his first students into the Safety Induction hall of fame.

If you are interested in finding out more about the club or commencing training with the Geelong crew, check out the membership information, training page or contact us.

Then once you’re a member, book a place via the calendar.

See you in the water! Til next…
