DESCRIPTION:For new MFC members\, it is compulsory to attend a Safety Induction prior to participating in Coaching\, Training\, or Social Dives – regardless of existing skill level.\n\nThe Safety induction provides you with the skills and knowledge to act as a buddy with your training partners in the pool. \n\nAt this session you'll learn about the impacts of pushing too far and why it's better to know and train within your limits. You'll learn and practice safety and rescue techniques\, including the buddy system\, safety protocol and rescues. These are important for your safety\, your buddy and other pool users.\n\n\n* * * * *\nVenue: Richmond Recreation Centre\n\nUpon arrival at RRC\, please wait in the foyer before the pool reception desk\, our President Matt will find you there.\n* If you are delayed reason\, please SMS/Call Matt on 0414 535 700\n\nCost: Your pool entry for the Safety Induction is covered by MFC as part of your membership.\n\nWhat to bring: Please bring along your swimming attire\, wetsuit\, fins\, mask\, snorkel\, towel\, weights & belt.\n\nIf you are yet to obtain your own wetsuits/fins/mask\, don't worry\, for this session you can get away with your standard swimsuit attire.\n\nFor more info on the equipment you'll need to Freedive regularly\, please see our very comprehensive FAQ.\n* * * * *\n\nSIGN-UP\nPlease email us to confirm your attendance\n\ninfo@melbournefreedivers.org.au\n\nAdditionally\, if you haven't done so already\, please forward us your AFA membership confirmation email\, so we can register your insurance details.\n\nIf you have any questions\, please don't hesitate to ask!
